The Headwaters Arts APP!

Artists,

Do you sometimes find it hard to keep track of what is going on at Headwaters Arts? Do you sometimes miss deadlines for art submissions  because our Eblast has gotten lost in a sea of emails?  Do you find it hard to find what you are looking for on our website, submission guidelines for example?

We have great news.  Headwaters Arts has their own app! Downloading this app onto your phone will give you more convenient access to some of the main items you might want to find like Calls to Artists for example. Not only that, we can easily send you notifications when deadlines are coming up.
We encourage you to give it a try. It might not be for everyone but many of you will enjoy the benefits. We promise that the app will not take up a lot of space on your device (under 50 KB which is very, very small!).

How do you get this app?  If you are reading this on your mobile device, then simply click this link:  Download the App

The app will open and ask if you would like to save it to your home screen. It is essentially asking if you want to install it. Follow the instructions on the screen.  Tap the little share icon at the bottom, then tap add to home screen.
Once the app is installed you will be asked if you want to be kept up-to-date with news. Agreeing to this will allow us to send you notifications such as reminders of deadlines, events, etc.
This is totally new so we welcome feedback and suggestions. Perhaps there is something that you think would be useful to have on the app that we haven’t thought of. Send us your comments to info@headwatersarts.org.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather, and on which the Region of Peel operates, is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples inhabited and cared for this land. In particular we acknowledge the territory of the Ani-shinabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples; the land that is home to the Metis; and most recently, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation who are direct descendants of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.
