Headwaters Arts is excited to present the 30th Annual Fall Festival, commencing with the Opening Night Soiree of the Open Juried Art Show and Sale—an all-inclusive, ticketed evening celebrating art, artists, and creativity in the Headwaters Arts Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre in Alton, Ontario. A record number of artist entries made jurying the show a competitive task for Jurors Julia Veenstra, a renowned Canadian artist and entrepreneur, and Liza Zhurkovskaya, art advisor, founder of Kefi Art Gallery, and creator of Curator on the Go. The final selection features 70+ pieces chosen from over 200 submissions from 117 artists. The evening soiree is Headwaters Arts’ flagship fundraising event of the year. The evening promises fine art curated by Samantha Routledge, mellow jazz vibes by guitarist Paul Llew- Williams, and delicious bites and refreshments alongside a unique Silent Auction. Presentations will include:
- Recognition of generous sponsors
- Jurors’ Awards for prize-winning artists
- The Headwaters Arts 2026 Student Scholarship Award
- A special recognition and tribute thanking HA founders, volunteers, artists, sponsors and contributors were with us over the past 30 years and who helped build Headwaters Arts into one of the most vibrant, community-driven art organizations in Ontario.
