Member Shows

Each year Headwaters Arts holds  a number of member shows that are lightly juried and open to all members of Headwaters Arts.

Click below to see the general submission guidelines for member shows. Our Christmas Show Artful Giving has slightly different guidelines.

Artists participating in member shows are required to commit to gallery-sitting shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The number of shifts will depend on the number of artists in the show.

Beginning January 2022, we will be using JOTFORM to accept submissions to our member shows. The guidelines have be revised to explain the changes in the submission process. Please click the link below and read them carefully!

In each calendar year there are a number of slots for members to submit applications for proposal shows. In 2025 there are 3 opportunities available.

Headwaters Arts Proposal Show Guidelines

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather, and on which the Region of Peel operates, is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples inhabited and cared for this land. In particular we acknowledge the territory of the Ani-shinabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples; the land that is home to the Metis; and most recently, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation who are direct descendants of the Mississaugas of the Credit.

We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.
