Our Current Show: ARTFUL GIVING

 Artful Giving, Headwaters Arts annual Christmas show is the perfect place to find gifts with originality, quality and attention to detail. Skip the gift cards, big-box stores and crowded malls, and make this your first stop for holiday shopping.

Approximately 40+ local and regional artisans/artist showcase their original creations in the relaxed, friendly and festive atmosphere of the Headwaters Arts Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre in Alton, Ontario. The Gallery is filled with over 250+ extraordinary and delightful handmade, beautifully crafted and thoughtfully created items that are sure to bring joy to that special someone on your list this holiday season.

Featured items include: a variety of hand-painted, carved, wood-turned, sewn and painted Christmas ornaments, handcrafted jewellery, clay/Raku/stoneware, ceramic, wood turned items including bowls, purses and satchels, paper sculpture/bowls, glass, pottery, silk cowls, hand woven tea towels, textiles, foraged inks, watercolour/acrylic, encaustic and oil paintings, coasters decorative pillows, knitted items and one-of-a-kind hand made cards, resin/wood items, knitted/crochet items, whimsical felted lanterns/colourful creations and so much more.

Says Loni Griffin, HA Gallery Co-ordinator, “The magic of Christmas returns and this show is bigger than ever with exceptional and truly unique, hand-crafted items that are beautiful and affordable. New artists and artisans have been added to this year’s show, so we have exciting surprises in the Gallery for our returning visitors.The price points for these creative gems range from $5.00 to $100 dollars with some works/paintings over
$200.00”.

Drop in for the Artists’ RECEPTION on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 1 – 3 pm, in the Headwaters Arts Gallery at the Alton Mill Arts Centre where you can meet the artists, enjoy some refreshments and shop to your hearts content.

Artful Giving opens November 12th in the Headwaters Arts Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre, in Alton, Ontario and runs until January 6, 2026.

AND your visit just got better – Alton Mill’s Christmas OPEN HOUSE ~ Meet your Makers! at the Alton Mill Arts Centre on Sat, Nov 22 (10am – 5pm) and Sunday, Nov 23rd from 10am – 5pm.
