Two local artists, Sherry Park, a painter and Ann Randeraad, a clay artist, each pull their inspiration from the richly textured and colourful landscapes in the Headwaters region. Sherry’s paintings and Ann’s wood fire clay works capture each artist’s own, intimate response to the strong, connection, relationship and engagement they have with nature. Areas of colour & texture are applied as  interpretations of nature’s richness & subtleties.
These markings prompt the viewer to step into nature, to breathe in the fresh open air, feel the
craggy texture of the bark & simply to just breathe in.

Sherry Park is an oil painter whose loose brushstrokes and structured approach transport the viewer into the image itself. Sherry’s works will include affordable, small pieces and large focal pieces for your home.

Ann Randeraad, a wood fire clay artist, pulls inspiration from the subtleties in nature: simple
forms and contrasting surface textures. She mimics these nuances in her layered neutral glazes with loose overlayed glaze applications and carbon trap responses. Ann’s works will include everything from small trinket plates, latte cups with saucers, celebration sets, batter bowls and more. All one of a kind items.
