Headwaters Arts second members’ show of 2024 titled, From the Heart, is truly a heart-warming, deeply personal, and big visual presentation of works that speak to what “heartfelt” means to the 21 artists selected for this exhibition. The 30+ selected pieces in the show include works in a variety of mediums: oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings, soft pastels, encaustic, mixed media mosaic, glass, photography, mixed media and pencil.

Arts member, Emilia Perri has two stunning, very large, acrylic on canvas artworks that are all about love.
Says Emilia, “My painting called, Lacrime d’Amore or Love Tears is about the sorrow one feels when
love is lost, there is the raining of tears that come and go, it doesn’t matter how much time passes, the
feelings from the background can come to the foreground at any given time.”
